Paper #1 - Description of a Built Environment

Using the list above, write a 1 page (double spaced) description of a built environment.  A suggested list of built environments follows. Your paper is to be a description only. You are to use only descriptive terms to tell us what you see. We are not interested in judgements.  We do not care whether you think the building is ugly or pretty, or whether you like or dislike some aspect of the built environment. We want to know what you see and how you describe it and if you use some of the descriptive vocabulary, above.  You may consult other descriptive material, but be cautious to use your language, not theirs.

Report out on October 6 for each of the chosen  monuments. 5 min.
