Hard to believe, but I have worked in Ramsey Library for almost 30 years! Before accepting duties as Government Documents Team Leader in 1998, I spent 15 years in the Technical Services Department of Ramsey Library as a cataloger. My primary responsibilities are the cataloging of federal and state government publications, including books, computer files, microforms, kits, and Web sites. I am also responsible for database maintenance, production of monthly and annual acquisitions statistics, and keeping up with changes in GPO distribution.

I also enjoy working at the Reference Desk.

Although the job of cataloging may appear routine, it is not without its challenges. Even after my long tenure, I still discover the learning process continues. As an avid reader, there is great joy in working in the library environment.
