Faces of Asheville's Black History: East Riverside Urban Redevelopment Project Photographs, Asheville, NC

Images in this slideshow were selected from the East Riverside Urban Redevelopment Project Collection, which is comprised of photographs of individuals and families associated with the East Riverside urban redevelopment project of Asheville, North Carolina. Many are turn of the century and from notable Asheville, Baltimore, MD, and other city photographic studios. The relationship of photographs to one another is unclear. The majority of the images are unidentified and represent many families in the African American community. Any assistance in identification would be appreciated.
