(North Carolina Libraries for Virtual Education) databases are available from any on-campus computer. UNCA students, faculty, and staff may access NC LIVE databases from off-campus. Non-UNCA users may access NC LIVE resources at their public or college library.
UNCA Web access only. Ramsey Library subscribes to many other Web-based electronic resources, databases, and journals. These proprietary
resources are accessible from any on-campus computer with Web access. For off-campus access, log in with your name and OneCard number.
CD-ROM available in Ramsey Library. Some
periodical indexes and reference resources are available only in the library on CD-ROM.
Ramsey Library CD-ROMs also include federal government publications that may be available
in both CD-ROM and Web format.
Unrestricted Web access. Finally, there are
some important "open access" Web resources on our lists of electronic resources,
such as indexes to electronic journals or North Carolina state government Web sites.
