Recommended Supply List for Disaster Kits (Includes
Unit additions)
Is your hose too short? Can't get the water
pressure up? Leaky hydrant? All the water on the ground and not in the
hose. You need better hoses and you need to know
where they are located. Know what supplies you
might need in the event of a disaster and keep them on hand. Keep the
supplies up to date, check them regularly, and keep them locally, if
possible.
GOAL: Each Unit will maintain a core DISASTER KIT. The kit will
be housed in a 10 gallon plastic garbage container, on wheels for
easy portability. The DISASTER KIT will be located in a central area of
the Unit and will remain in the unit location indicated on the LIBRARY MAP, provided with each DISASTER
KIT. Suppliers of materials for the
DISASTER KIT are included under - Recovery Resources and
Suppliers.

Each of the UNITS may have individual needs and may

and the SUPPLEMENTARY KITS will need to be checked and re-supplied
