| Comments: | A remarkable tour of today's Holy Land in the context of the Old Testament. Perhaps more aptly titled "Driving the Bible in a Jeep," Feiler presents an interesting tour of places in the first five books of the Bible thought to be identifiable on today's landscape. He's accompanied through much of the journey by an Israeli archaeologist who once served as Chief Archaeologist of the Sinai. Together they contemplate the many Biblical scenes as they might have been and consult with a variety of Bedouins and local experts. | |
